2021 vintage was hand harvested with 80% of the pick undergoing carbonic maceration (whole cluster fermentation) and the remainder whole berry fermentation. The carbonic maceration elevates the fruity flavors and texture of the wine and compliments the light bodied style of our Nouveau Syrah. The wine was aged on yeast lees in used French oak for 6 months after primary fermentation to promote textural interest and integration of fine tannins.
